The annual AGA Recognition Awards honor the achievements of innovators and leaders in gastroenterology. During a reception Sunday evening, AGA celebrated members who contribute to the profession.
“All GI/hepatologists are asked to assist maternal fetal medicine in the care of pregnant women with liver disease, and as the prevalence of HCV increases and screening guidelines change, we are certain to be faced with this clinical dilemma more often,” says Nancy S. Reau, MD, FAASLD, who will co-moderate Tuesday’s AASLD Clinical Symposium “Managing HBV and HCV in Pregnancy.”
