Congratulations to all accepted abstract presenters for Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2024! Was your accepted abstract in basic science? Let your hard work get the recognition it deserves by applying for a DDW Basic Science Travel Award. DDW will award up to 20 early career basic science abstract authors with a $1,000 grant and recognition at this year’s event. Apply today — the Feb. 21 application deadline is almost here.
Requirements
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Currently be enrolled in a training program or be within three years of completing their training (as of the application deadline).
- Be listed as the presenting author of an accepted basic science abstract for DDW 2024.
- Be able to attend DDW 2024 in person in Washington, D.C. to present their abstract at the time and date specified in their acceptance notification.

There is no fee to apply, so take advantage of this chance to offset the cost of attending DDW and be celebrated for your basic science breakthroughs.
