The deadline to submit an abstract to Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2022 is almost here. All submissions must be completed by 21:00 Eastern time (UTC -5) on Dec. 2; no abstract edits, author additions or changes to abstract type can be made after this deadline.
Tips from Previous Submitters
Needs some last-minute guidance on crafting your abstract? We published a series of blog posts with advice from those with first-hand experience. Check out some of their tips:
[one_third]“Send your draft to a mentor or your attending. It is always helpful to get another set of eyes for editing, particularly if you’re a trainee.”
[/one_third] [one_third]“Abstract titles are like the preface of a novel: informative, clear and every word matters. It’s the first thing a reviewer sees, so make a good first impression and hook the reader with a strong title.”
[/one_third] [one_third_last]“Do not put identifying information in the abstract title or body. This deliberately breaks the blind.”
