Meet the Experts in the DDW Trainee and Early Career Lounge

Located in Sails Pavilion (Upper Level) of the San Diego Convention Center, the DDW Trainee and Early Career Lounge is a space dedicated to trainee and early career GI attendees. Come meet and network with peers from around the world over a cup of coffee or while playing a game. Information will be available from each of the sponsoring societies (AASLD, AGA, ASGE and SSAT), in addition to new trainee-specific programming. Access will be limited to trainees, postdoctoral fellows, students, or anyone who graduated from training or fellowship in the past five years.

Hours of Operation

Saturday, May 18 to Monday, May 20, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Tuesday, May 21, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meet-the-Expert Sessions

These new, informal sessions will start with 15 minutes of meet and greet, followed by a half hour presentation. Presenters will stay to answer questions and host a meet-and-greet until end of hour.

AGA Trainee & Early Career Networking Hour

Sunday, May 19, 2–3 p.m.

This event is open to all DDW trainee and early career GI attendees and provides a casual atmosphere to network with peers. You can also meet the AGA Trainee & Early Career Committee, participate in an advocacy initiative, and learn more about all that AGA has to offer for fellows and early career GIs. This networking event will take place directly following the Sunday Meet-the-Expert Session. Light refreshments will be served.
