It’s an exciting time for Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) as we prepare to commemorate 50 years as the global leader in San Diego, CA, May 18-21. Whether you’ve already registered or are still making the decision, you can view high-level details of programming being offered this year through two published resources.
DDW 2019 Preliminary Program
Get started on your planning with the DDW Preliminary Program — an interactive, digital brochure that gives you access to the early DDW agenda, housing information, ways to stay updated through social media and other vital details that you will need to register for DDW 2019. Preliminary program contents include:
- San Diego information and a shuttle map.
- Registration information and DDW program listings.
- Sponsoring society highlights.
- Exhibits and activities.
- Planning tools and resources.
- An invitation to attend the 50th Anniversary Reception on Friday, May 17.
Take advantage of the left-hand menu that allows you to change how you view the brochure. Also on this menu is the “Help” button that will give you a tutorial on using the online program. Use the PDF icon in the upper right-hand corner to download the preliminary program to your computer or tablet.
DDW Online Planner: Light Version
New for 2019, we have launched a light version of the DDW Online Planner. This scaled down version allows users to search high-level session details and find exhibitors and also gives the ability to filter by day, educational track and session format. The planner will soon be refreshed to include accepted abstract titles and presenter names, but full text abstracts will not be available through this online planner version.
The main online planner will launch in March 2019 for registered attendees. After logging in with badge credentials, users will be able to view full text abstracts, create a personal schedule and network. The main online planner will also sync to the DDW 2019 Mobile App.
Visit the DDW website to explore these and other planning tools that will help you prepare for the 2019 meeting. See you in San Diego!
