Session Description
Following the ASGE Presidential Plenary 1, ASGE President, Klaus Mergener, MD, PhD, MBA, FASGE, and faculty leaders, will lead the ASGE Presidential Plenary II and discuss pertinent issues facing the profession during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Christie will be giving the J. Edward Berk Lecture, which will cover the current state of diversity and inclusion in medicine and gastroenterology and why it is important. She will also discuss strategies for moving diversity and inclusion initiatives forward at the individual and GI society level. This session will feature a live Q&A session so attendees can ask questions in real time.
