Unveiling Washington, D.C.: America’s Capital

We’re excited to introduce Washington, D.C. as the host city for Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2024! Once you’re here, you’ll see why it’s often named one of Conde Nast Traveler’s top ten big cities in the U.S. While you’re in town, be sure to squeeze some time in to explore some of D.C.’s iconic monuments, acclaimed theaters or flourishing dining scene. D.C. is also home to world-class museums, many of which are free, as well as National Zoo.

Plus, whether you’re flying or driving into D.C., transportation options are limitless. There are three major airports in the region, city public transportation, taxis and car rentals abound.

Leading up to the meeting, we’ll be your ultimate guide to spring in the city. In the meantime, you can learn more about this year’s host city on the DDW website.
