Warning: Beware of False Registration and Housing Sites

As we move closer to registration and housing opening for Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) 2022, we advise you to watch out for not-approved sites posting information for the 2022 meeting . These sites use the DDW name to solicit potential attendees and book fraudulent housing. If you have questions about the authenticity of a company or email, please send us an email.

Below are some of the false sites we’ve identified so far. Although these sites might appear in search results related to DDW, they are not third-party providers and are not affiliated with DDW. This list will be updated with new sites as we identify them.

Registration and Housing Information

Vendor seal Registration and housing open for members of AASLD, AGA, ASGE and SSAT on Jan. 19, 2022, and for the general public on Jan. 26. As a reminder, please only use the DDW website for trusted information regarding registration and housing. Our partner sites and communication will display the official vendor seal, seen here.

If you’re attending the meeting in person in San Diego, CA, make your hotel reservation when you register for DDW. All hotel reservations must be made through onPeak  — or DDW IGH for international reservations — DDW’s housing providers, as hotels cannot take direct reservations. The onPeak seal, shown here, will be displayed, along with the official vendor seal.

Please note that DDW does not supply or use third-party vendors to sell attendee lists. The only way to obtain an attendee list is for supporters to purchase a mailing list through our Industry Supporter Portal. If you are contacted in any way by a third-party vendor regarding DDW’s attendee list, please forward the information to [email protected] or to your account manager so DDW can investigate and take action.
