Compete with other attendees while making the most of your time at DDW^® by playing the popular Play to Win game in the DDW Mobile App. You earn points by visiting booths in the Exhibit Hall and other key areas at McCormick Place.

The player with the highest daily score wins an Apple® Watch and the player with the highest cumulative score will take home the grand prize — a free, four-night stay in Washington, DC, for DDW 2018 and complimentary meeting registration.

To play, log in to the mobile app and click on the “Play to Win” icon on the home screen. Read through the directions and the predetermined locations to start your excursion through the convention center and the Exhibit Hall. When you arrive at a location, look for a QR code to scan it via your mobile app. Expect to interact and engage with exhibitors and booth staff before scanning the code and earning your points.

Once the code is scanned, points are automatically reflected in the mobile app. You will see a running list of your tally alongside scores from other players.

Visiting participating exhibitors will earn you 50 points; visiting DDW sponsors will earn you 30 points; visiting sponsoring society booths will earn you 15 points; and you’ll tally 10 points for visiting key DDW locations like DDW TechConnect, the Trainee and Young GI Lounge, and the Career and Recruitment Center. A full list of locations can be found in the mobile app, and keep an eye out for bonus locations offered each day of the meeting.
