DDW Gives Back in Chicago

DDW Gives Back, the Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) sponsored donation drive, returns this year to benefit the greater Chicago area. The donation drive will be furthering the cause of the Greater Chicago Food Depository to feed the hungry and end hunger in Chicago communities. DDW will be giving a donation of $5,000 to benefit the depository and we encourage our attendees to give to this great cause as well. If you already registered for DDW 2017, you saved at least $80 by registering during the early-bird period. Please consider participating in DDW’s charity drive and donating your $80 to Greater Chicago Food Depository. If you haven’t yet registered for the meeting, you have until March 22 to take advantage of the early-bird discount and donate your savings to the cause. Learn more and donate today!

Since 1979, the Greater Chicago Food Depository has made a daily impact on hunger across Chicago communities. In 2016 alone, the depository distributed 70 million pounds of food, 35% of which was fresh produce. Every day the depository distributes the equivalent of 160,000 meals. Because of the great impact left on the communities, the Greater Chicago Food Depository has been recognized as one of the leading charities in Chicago.
