There’s always something new at Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) — and the 2020 meeting is no exception. Whether this is your first time at DDW or you attend every year, you’ll find new technology, session types, and programming to look forward to at this year’s meeting.
General registration and housing for DDW 2020 are now open. Register through March 18 to save at least $85. Sponsoring society trainee, postdoctoral fellow and student members receive complimentary registration through the early bird period.
New This Year
Stump the Professor Session
Medical students, residents and fellows will present their most unique and challenging cases to a panel of professors who must determine correct diagnoses. Attend this interactive session for lively discussion, friendly competition, and the opportunity to learn new knowledge from both established and budding experts.
Expanded Programming in the DDW Trainee and Early Career Lounge
Meet with experts to have your questions answered about topics such as practical issues of career choice, contracting or how to write a manuscript.
Select invited-speaker sessions will offer Continuing Conversations. These dedicated 15-minute, post-lecture blocks offer an opportunity to network with presenters and fellow attendees. Search “Continuing Conversations” in the Online Planner to find out which sessions offer them.
Audience Response System
With this multi-functional platform, you can view presentations live on your mobile device, submit questions and take notes. Presenters can also include polling questions for live audience response. This technology will be used in all session rooms.
