Abstract submission is officially underway. If accepted, you’ll have the opportunity to present your research at the premier meeting for gastroenterology and hepatology professionals, plus get published in a top GI journal. Don’t forget, the deadline to submit is Thursday, Dec. 1 at 21:00 Eastern time (UTC –5).

Discuss the key findings and leave out minor details so you have more space to discuss the broad impact and importance of your research

Include data in your abstract. Qualitative statements are insufficient (unless it’s a qualitative study of course). If you don’t include data a reviewer may assume you don’t have it and score the abstract low, no matter how cool the findings are.
