Mark Your Calendar! Important Dates for DDW® 2020

Abstract Submission

Abstract submission will open on Thursday, Oct. 17, and the abstract submission period will close on Sunday, Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. All abstracts must be submitted online on the abstract submission site by that time. Please note this is the Sunday following the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Check the Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) website frequently for forthcoming details about abstract submission.

Basic Science Travel Awards

The application site for DDW Basic Science Travel Awards opens Thursday, Oct. 17. Applications must be submitted by the deadline on Thursday, Feb. 20 at 9 p.m. More information about the Basic Science Travel Awards is available on DDW’s website.

Registration

Members of AASLD, AGA, ASGE, and SSAT can begin to register for DDW on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Registration for nonmembers opens on Wednesday, Jan. 22. If you aren’t currently a member, there’s still plenty of time to join one (or more) of the four societies and receive the members’ discount on your DDW registration.

The early bird registration deadline in Wednesday, March 18. Registering before or on this date will save you money on your registration. The last day to register and receive a badge in the mail is also Wednesday, March 18. This is also the last day to pay by check and the cancellation deadline.

Rooms in the hotels nearest the convention center go fast. Registering early is the key to securing a reservation in the hotel of your choice.

Meeting Dates

DDW 2020 will take place May 2-5 at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. The Exhibit Hall will be open May 3-5.

    1. Hi, there is one course scheduled for Friday, May 1 (ASGE Train the Endoscopic Trainer Workshop and Hands-On (TET)), otherwise the full schedule starts on Saturday, May 2.
