New Video Series: Hear From Our Program Chairs

We’re kicking off the Digestive Disease Week® (DDW) Program Highlights campaign, a new four-part video series featuring the AASLD, AGA, ASGE and SSAT program chairs. Hear directly from them to learn what you can expect at this year’s meeting, including new topics and session types, and what they personally are looking forward to. Check back each week as we publish a new video.

Registration for DDW 2022 is now open — save up to $95 by registering on or before March 30. Society member postdoctoral fellows, trainees and students receive complimentary registration through this date.

Introduction

DDW Council Chair Loren Laine, MD, kicks the series off with a personal message. Hear from him more about this year’s registration options and DDW’s anchor session, the Best of DDW. DDW 2022, taking place May 21–24, will feature over 400 scientific sessions; DDW Virtual™ will include access to 64 sessions livestreamed and available to watch on demand.

AASLD Highlights

AASLD Secretary and Program Chair Carla W. Brady, MD, MHS, FAASLD overviews AASLD’s new and improved programming at DDW 2022. Learn more about popular and exciting sessions that you won’t want to miss, including the Stump-the-Expert, which will feature live interaction with experts.

AGA Highlights

AGA Institute Council Chair Rhonda F. Souza, MD, AGAF, provides highlights from AGA’s program for DDW 2022, including tours of the Poster Hall, basic science and clinical science abstract plenaries and the AGA Presidential Plenary, which will focus on DEI.

ASGE Highlights

Amitabh Chak, MD, MASGE, chair of the ASGE DDW Executive Planning Committee, outlines what the society has planned for you this year, including abstracts, case studies, endoscopic videos, hands-on demonstrations and much more.

SSAT Highlights

Michael G. House, MD, SSAT Program Chair, shares SSAT’s two program themes at DDW 2022: discovery and advancement.
