“In his presidential address on Monday at DDW®, AGA President Timothy Wang, MD, AGAF, reviewed AGA’s accomplishments and priorities under his leadership over the past year, highlighting several new tools that help AGA members address changes to the GI practice environment.
Representatives from each of the four participating DDW® societies will highlight the top research abstracts presented over the course of this year’s meeting during Tuesday’s Best of DDW session. DDW Council Chair Grace H. Elta, MD, AGAF, FASGE, and DDW Council Treasurer Steven A. Edmundowicz, MD, FASGE, will moderate the two-hour session, a perennial favorite for meeting attendees.
The best endoscopic videos from around the world will be showcased during Tuesday’s seventh annual ASGE World Cup of Endoscopy. Each video will be presented and scored by an international panel of 10 judges. One winner will be declared at the end of the session and the top three countries will receive gold, silver and bronze medals.
